OpenPayroll proposes managing contracts and payroll payments with blockchain technology. The interface needed to support employer tasks and workers’ access to information.
My contribution
I contributed to flows, screen and component design, and interface implementation in Next.js. The work presented here is a testnet MVP.
Design decisions.
Distinguish each role’s tasks
Separate contract creation and management from payment and history queries.
Use task-oriented language
Explain operations through payroll and payment vocabulary, while retaining the necessary context about how they work.
Connect interface states
Use shared components to represent forms, information and transaction states.

A testnet MVP was developed with flows for creating contracts, onboarding workers and viewing payments.
Validation and scope
A testnet MVP is not a payroll service validated in real use. I do not present adoption metrics or user testing results.
